Q: How do I plan a party? A: Start by looking through our themed party ideas and find one that fits your needs. You are welcome to suggest other ideas and we will try to accomodate you. Look through the menu choices and make some selections. Choose the date and time for your party. Begin to create a guest list. When you have tentative plans, contact us with your party request. We will call you to discuss your plans and put together a party contract based on your needs.
Q: What's next?
A: We will send you a party contract for your approval, outlining the specifics that were discussed. Read it carefully and contact us with questions. When you are satisfied, sign the contract and return it with the required deposit before the listed deadline.
Q: Are there any deadlines I need to remember? A: There are two important deadlines: the contract has a specific due date two weeks before the event in order the hold the event date open, and the cancellation deadline is two days before the event in order to receive a refund.
Q: What can I expect the day of my party? A: We will arrive about 1 1/2 hours before the party. We will decorate the table(s) with tablecloths, napkins, plates, cups/saucers, flatware, serving pieces, teapot(s), and table decorations. We will post a welcome flag at the cafe or on a stake in your front yard (unless you prefer that we don't). We will set up a CD player with appropriate background music. Overall, we will make all preparations for the party to start on time and provide a wonderful experience for your guests.
A: Sweet P's Teas does not normally provide a decorated cake for occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries. We suggest that you order a cake of your choice from the bakery you choose. If you really want us to get a cake we will try to arrange that for you at an extra cost.
A: It is completely your choice if you and your guests choose to dress a certain way or wear costumes. Some of our parties include accessories (see notes for each party).
